The original name for this site was Bad Conceptual Art. I liked the name, but the reference to an old series of Saturday Night Live sketches was probably too obscure. Then I thought of the Tangent View concept (a little tip of the hat to the Tangent Universe of Donnie Darko). My work is not entirely consistent in style or theme, but I think that it does represent a somewhat tangent view of the world, starting at some reference point in reality and taking off from there.

I am a self-taught artist working primarily in three-dimensional designs. I also do some work with photography and print making.
